The playwright workshop at Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy on October 21 was very rewarding for the fourteen students who attended. David MacGregor, a published playwright who is on staff at Jeff Daniels' Purple Rose Theatre, gave students valuable information about writing, getting published, and even having their plays produced onstage. David is one of the adjudicators for the META Festival playwright competition, so his feedback was especially insightful for our students who are submitting plays by October 31.
