The Michigan Educational Theater Association accepts open nominations for talented theater educators. Successful candidates must have a minimum of 15 years of experience in theater education with a proven track record of success in the classroom and production. The candidate must also have demonstrated service to the Michigan Educational Theater Association, have an active Thespian Troupe, and may also have served the national organization as well. Each year a group of current hall of fame members meet to review the candidate pool and work to select a successful candidate.
