Students who earned a superior in a musical theatre category at the 2018 Michigan Thespian Festival are eligible to audition for a unique collaboration between META and MSVMA. Sixteen students (8 from META and 8 from MSVMA) will be selected by a panel of judges to perform in a 15 minute Les Miserables medley at the May 10, 2019 Gala Performance of the Michigan Youth Arts Festival. Interested students must complete all requirements which include an application fee of $10 and submittal of a 32 bar cut solo musical youtube by January3, 2019.
Students chosen must be available for a rehearsal workshop January 23, 2019 held in Grand Rapids, Michigan at the Michigan Music Conference.
